Dermal Fillers & Injectables Help Reduce the Signs of Aging

Dermal fillers naturally refresh and refine, helping prevent and fade signs of aging. Also referred to as soft tissue fillers, dermal fillers restore lost volume and fullness to your face, fill in lines and creases and enhance facial features. At The Center for Aesthetics, we offer a variety of dermal fillers including Juvederm, Restylane, and Versa and will choose the right injectable, or combination of treatments, to best fit your unique needs.

Dermal Fillers enhance your true beauty, without drastically changing your appearance.

At CFA, we use fillers for rejuvenation – restoring your most refreshed and radiant you — and also for ‘pre-juvenation’ – keeping faces looking naturally youthful and refreshed at each age and life stage.

We see patients who are using small amounts of filler at a younger age actually aging differently than people who didn’t – prevention can be easier than correction. When combined with great scientifically proven skin care products and dedicated use of sunscreen, fillers can be a great age prevention strategy.

Injectables are natural and safe.

At CFA we use only the safest soft tissue fillers with hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite to deliver a predictable and long-lasting correction. They can add volume and decrease wrinkles with a single treatment. As an added bonus, injectables may also rev up collagen production, so you’ll have fresher-looking skin over time.

Most fillers use hyaluronic acid – your body produces it naturally, but you have less of it as your skin ages. Because it stores moisture, hyaluronic acid gives skin a plump, hydrated look. It’s used topically to moisturize, but only injectable hyaluronic acid can restore lost volume by adding to the natural plumping action or replenishing your body’s natural production.

It’s so important to go to a highly trained and skilled provider and not an inexperienced med spa.

Dermal filler placement is as much art as science. At CFA, our board-certified team has deep knowledge of facial anatomy and a strong sense of facial proportion and harmony. Too many medical spas employ novices who took a quick course in injectables, which means more risk to you and less reliable results. At CFA you can trust our understanding of facial anatomy and the scientific research that backs each injectable brand, so we select the right filler depending on your needs and place it in your face correctly.

We also stay up to date on the latest advances, regularly attending The Aesthetic Medicine World Congress in Monte Carlo, Monaco – considered the gold standard conference for soft tissue filler education – to ensure our techniques and facial evaluation set the standard on a global scale.

Expert injection will give you beautiful, natural-looking results.

The best dermal filler will look natural and in harmony with your facial features. At CFA, we offer a subtle approach that helps you look youthful, refreshed and rested. We enhance your beauty, without the risk of trout pout or duck lips that are so common when fillers are overdone.

Our experts will also evaluate the role fillers can play within an overall treatment plan. At times injectables are best done in concert with other treatments to create the most natural result – and to avoid what we call the ‘Whoville house’ effect when too much filler is used to treat issues better addressed by other state-of-the-art technologies like Ultherapy, Vivace and PRP.

Injectables are easy and comfortable in-office treatments.

They’re a lot less painful than you might think. Results last from six to eighteen months depending on the product used. Filler can also be adjusted – we can inject additional filler for balance or can use an enzyme to dissolve the filler if necessary. Temporary bruising and swelling can occur, so we recommend you choose the appropriate time to avoid interfering with important social events.

Different dermal fillers do different things.

While most filler is made with hyaluronic acid, different particle sizes will deliver different results. For example, Restylane Lyft has larger particle sizes that can help thinned cheekbones, while a smaller particle size, as in Restylane Silk, often works better for addressing fine lines and plumping lips. The most natural results may require a combination. At your consultation, we’ll explain the options and recommend an ideal treatment plan for you.
