Face Lift & Neck Lift
A face lift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that improves the appearance of the face and neck and eliminates sagging, loose skin, and wrinkles caused by aging. While many nonsurgical alternative treatments exist, a surgical face/neck lift will provide the most visible improvement in advanced conditions. Face lift surgery also achieves the longest lasting improvement although it does not stop the aging process and other non-surgical treatments may enhance the surgical result.
Face lifts are performed under anesthesia by making incisions along the temple, hairline and behind the ear, lifting the deep support structures of the face and redistributing the skin and tissue of the face. Other restorative treatments such as eyelid surgery are frequently performed along with facelifts.
